DUNLOP “ENASAVE EC300+” Selected as Factory Standard Tires for the LEXUS UX300e
Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. is pleased to announce that we have begun supplying our environmentally friendly DUNLOP “ENASAVE EC300+” tires to LEXUS for use as factory standard tires on their first commercial electric vehicle (EV) model: the LEXUS “UX300e.”
The UX300e is a new commercial EV that brings together the superbly comfortable and quiet riding experience that has become synonymous with LEXUS and the refined driving performance that one would expect of the UX Series, taking both of these traits to new heights. Meanwhile, our DUNLOP ENASAVE EC300+ incorporates the advanced fuel-efficient tire technologies that we have developed over the years for our ENASAVE Series, applying these in order to help fulfill the electric mileage performance requirements of the UX300e. At the same time, ENASAVE EC300+ also contributes to further improvements in quiet and riding comfort thanks to the adoption of our proprietary tread compounding technology.
